Instructions

Heat olive oil in a pan. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened and lightly browned around the edges, about 3 to 4 minutes.

Add the ground meat, 1 teaspoon salt, and minced garlic to the pan. Cook until the meat is browned, about 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally to break up the meat.

Add all other spices (chili powder, ground cumin, chipotle powder, ground coriander) and beef broth to the pan.

Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook, uncovered, until the sauce is slightly thickened, about 2 to 3 minutes.
