Finely chop the onion, chilies, garlic, and mushrooms.

Blend the diced tomatoes in a mixer to create a paste.

Heat the olive oil in a pan. Add the chopped onion, chilies, garlic, mushrooms, and cut green olive. Cook until the onions are browned.

Add the blended tomato paste, salt, red chili powder, and oregano to the pan. Bring the sauce to a boil over medium heat.

Reduce heat and simmer the sauce for 7 minutes.

Remove from heat and let the sauce stand for 5 minutes.
